World Health Organization otherwise known as WHO was allerted about dozens of pneumonia-like cases on New Year in the city of Wuhan, China. WHO does identify a suspected seafood market in Wuhan to be the center of the outbreak. January seventh of the new year China reports it's first known death from the illness, the patient was a 61 year old man in Wuhan, only six days later WHO reports the first detected case outside of China in Thailand. Three days past Japan confirms its first case of infection with the novel coronavirus. South korea reports its first confirmed case on the twentieth, only for the next day the US announces it's first confirmed case in Washington state a man in his thirties.
Infection tolls jumping everywhere in China, whilst taking more lives as the Coronavirus grows. The only logical thing to do North Korea closes it borders to all forgein tourists, and start step up checks on flights from Wuhan. Wuhan going under quarantine cancels all transportation out of the city. Still stuck in January the WHO does not yet constitute a public emergency of international concern. Thinking there is no human-to-human transmittion outside of China World Health Organisation accounces "Make no mistake this is though an emergency in China, but it has not yet become a global health emergency it may yet become one" on January 23rd.
The first case in Canada is confirmed after a man travelling from Wuhan, China, tested postive for the virus. Following not to far behind Australia and Malaysia also confirm their first cases too. The WHO finally confirms the outbreak is a global health emergency on January thirtieth.
Dr. Claudio Tuda working at Medical Center in Mount Sinai confirms that there were different strains of coronavirus before the year of 2020. He says "Think of it like this, every year there's a new flu vaccine because the strain mutates every year". Different kinds of corona virus are as common as a simple cold same with SARS which is another corona virus that killed more than 700 people before it was contained. As of today the Coronavirus has killed more than 875 thousand and has infected more than 26.6 million people across the world. Schools have created hybrid classes, that include tradional schooling and virtual schooling. Students are having to protect themselves and those around them to help the spread, there have also been processes and policies to keep people safe, and pysical structures put in place to distance people from hazards; which includes plastic shielding and ropes to direct peoples approach to their destination.Visit https://health.usnews.com/doctors/claudio-tuda-265962 to learn more about Dr. Claudio Tuda.
